Poor start expected
Hello and welcome back to my ntfc blog. Hopefully you will remember my previous blog in which I explained how I thought The cobblers would struggle this season. So far we have struggled to score goals and defend and I'm not surprised. We lost Carlisle to retirement and Langmead is out for several months to. Then we had bayo leave and yes I have moved on but we need someone to step up to the plate and replace him because it hasn't happened so far. Blyth has done OK and I'm happy he has extended his loan with us until November. Platt played his best game so far for the club against Scunthorpe United. I'm still not a big fan of Platt but I will stick by him and I wont grumble or boo him like I saw some fans do to him on Saturday. I still think were missing a good striker that we can call our own. I'm pretty sure there is some good free agents out there Marlon king has been mentioned by some fans but would he move to league 2? I doubt it. I'm gonna stick to my prediction that we will finish mid table this season. We have enough to finish there but this season we are rebuilding and then next season we will push on. You never know if this squad suddenly finds some decent form we could snatch a playoff place but I doubt it. If you enjoy my blog make sure to follow me on twitter @joooshtv.
